I will tell you a story about this clinic and the incredible doctor Socrates. I was on vacation in Karpathos and one morning I woke up and saw a lot of blood on my sheet. I was very scared and realized that my hemorrhoids were bleeding. I was upset and immediately called my travel agents. The agents recommended that I go to doctor Socrates. They also suggested the hospital but I did not want to go there. I wanted my privacy for this specific problem. I immediately called the doctor on his personal phone and described my situation to him. Doctor Socrates told me not to worry and that he would drive by the hotel and take me to his clinic. He arrived within 5 minutes and took me and my wife with him and we went to the clinic. The nurse and the secretary were waiting for me at the door. They helped me enter the clinic and took me to the operating room. The doctor, smiling, immediately examined the problem and after explaining to me that the bleeding was coming from a hemorrhoid, he immediately gave me local anesthesia and performed a hemorrhoidectomy on me within 2-3 minutes. I didn't feel any pain at all. At some point he told me to get up because we're done. I replied to him: that's all? And he told me laughingly: I have time to do a brain transplant on you if you agree. He was incredibly fast, I didn't feel any pain and I was speechless. Then he gave me instructions and wrote me a prescription for medicine that I had to get from the pharmacy. Finally, he told me to drink a beer in the evening to forget my problem. I had this fantastic experience and the best thing is that I had to be in Karpathos to solve my problem. Thank you Dr. Socrates and staff.
